It all starts with identity.
The words 'know thyself' were inscribed at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. This famous phrase encourages deep self-reflection and awareness.
Your identity your temple.
Who are you?
Such a simple question but the answer to it can be challenging especially for women.
Us women are known for being multitaskers. We are capable of so much. Many of us are working, running businesses, studying, caring for children, caring for parents, caring for a home, caring for our pets.....
So much caring and it's beautiful.
But where are you in all of this? When did you last care for yourself? By this I don't mean when did you last get your nails done or eat your five a day. I mean when did you last take a really deep look at yourself and truly see who you are?
Being seen matters.
We all have a need to be seen and understood but if we only desire to receive this from others we will never be free to be loved by ourselves.
Self love flourishes from self worth, self expression and self care. This is the temple you create for yourself and it's a place of reverence that is sacred and yours.
